DESCA's TechConnect Workshops offer a structured process that is tailored to sustainable technology inventions to help focus resources on the most commercially viable applications.
Based on commercialization concepts developed by Temple University, Fox Business School and Learn Start-Up, TechConnect is particularly suitable for innovation platforms that offer many applications and products for multiple markets. Coupled with Domain Expert Connectivity, the TechConnect process helps prioritize these options to focus resources on the most promising application/product.

DESCA's regularly scheduled, one and half hour lunches bring together entrepreneurs, thought leaders, academics, business leaders, students and subject matter experts to explore topics related to technology development and commercialization.
Events typically have a single presenting speaker with expertise on a particular topic and aim to stimulate questions and dialogue that educate attendees. Check our home page regularly for dates of upcoming Lunch & Learns.
DESCA held its first Green Chemistry Investor Forum in 2013 with a goal to connect angel investors and venture funds with emerging, high growth, pre-vetted companies. Over the following two years, these companies collectively raised >$25M in venture capital, secured development relationships or licensing deals with companies such as Shell, Koch Industries, Air Liquide, and GE and/or underwent profitable acquisitions.
The second Investor Forum was held in 2018, highlighting a new group of 8 vetted companies in various stages of commercialization, ranging from proof of concept, to customer/partner validation to market expansion.
